On June 27 a workshop, organized by Volusia Parks, was held at DeBary Hall. Tim Baylie and his Parks and Recreation Team hosted the event. Other speakers included Heather Garcia from FDOT, Maggie Ardito and Herb Hiller from the SJR2C Loop Alliance, Tara McCue from ECFRPC, Kelly White Daytona City Commissioner. From Brevard Sarah Kraum, Edyie McCall and Michael Garau all presented.
Great news for Trail Fans and kudos to Volusia County Engineer Jerry Brinton. He has committed to getting that critical Blue Spring Gap between Detroit Terrace and Donald E. Smith Blvd closed as soon as possible!

This past week St John's County hosted Bike Florida's Annual Tour Event - the Gullah Geechee Spring Tour. Over 600 riders from all over the country ventured to St. Johns' s County Fairgrounds - which was base camp.
